"I'm a bit hungry," she said, looking up in his embrace.
Gabriel raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes. "Alright, I'll grab you something to eat." He reached out and gently pinched her nose.
"Wasn't it you who said no late-night snacks? I'll get you something low-calorie."
"Okay," Ashley replied with a smile, appreciating the brief respite.
Then, Gabriel made his way to the kitchen.
Picking up some food, he walked back and ran into Yosef, who was flirting with a beautiful woman.
Yosef, with the woman in his arms, looked disdainfully at the plate in Gabriel's hand. "I didn't realize you were so thoughtful. Getting food for someone in the middle of the night, huh?"
Gabriel smiled faintly, ignoring Yosef's jab. "I need to ask you something," he said, his tone more serious.
