Gabriel felt dizzy from reading documents all day, his chest tightening with frustration. As he stood by the window, rubbing his tired shoulders to relax, his phone rang. It was Maria. Before Gabriel could speak, Maria's panicked voice cut through. "Gabriel, Steven and Kaitlyn are fighting!"
At the Watson Mansion, Kaitlyn's unease of the past few days had finally reached a breaking point.
She held a couple of tortoiseshell hairpins in her hand, which she had found while cleaning Steven's room.
