I wish I could go back home to my annoying parents. For the first time since I got here, I miss them terribly. I pick up the phone and do what I never thought I’d do. I call my parents. “Mandy unjani” my dad answers. I held back the tears. “Ngiyaphila. I just miss you guys. Put me on speaker. I want to talk to both of you”, I told him. He says okay, then my mom’s loud voice booms in the room. I put them on speaker too. “Mama, do you know about video calling?
