Hyde walked out of the shower, water still dripping from his wet hair to the floor as he stepped towards the bed, lifting the smaller towel to his hair, drying it. His gaze went to the food served on the round table, a grumbling sound echoed to the four sides of the room, it came from his hungry stomach. He's famished. Probably because he vomited everything he ate, it was midnight when they started to leave from the city. The trip was on short notice on his part.
Unbeknownst to him, the stoic boss actually planned on telling him about it without further notice so he would have no other choice but to agree, no refusal or such and to Keikazu's ultimate surprise, Hyde did came but with a heavy heart.
It's already past his breakfast schedule that's why his stomach is protesting.
Hyde quickly put on his clothes, a simple blue pump up tees partnered with black board shorts, giving him a care free and casual looks. Though Hyde only wore those to match the vibe of the place, he knows he's not there to have fun but assist his boss even if earlier, he didn't serve his purpose. Keikazu was even the one who took care of him. And called for the room service.
Hyde sat down infront of the table and gobbled down the food, he felt as if he didn't eat for days. The drive from the city to the Aloha Beach Resort located in the suburb was five hours long and the roads were steep if not, on the mountain and in a zigzag pattern, he felt like they were circling around and got dizzy to the point of puking. That is why it is understandable that he's this hungry.
"Ah, I'm full."
Once he's done eating to his heart's content, now he's left to stare in the wall, not having anything to do. He's rejuvenated and got his energy back.
After a minute of digesting his food, Hyde decided to go out and breathe fresh air. Keikazu is maybe busy in the party and he doesn't wanna intrude so suddenly if he go there by now.
Hyde happily run through the seashore, taking off his black leather sandals, feeling the sand on his feet. The refreshing air and surrounding making him release all his stress and put a genuine, happy smile to his face.
"It's been so long!"
Five years is a long time. It's been a while since he got to see and visit a beach. The sound of high waves makes his heart flutter. There were not much tourist around, infact in the side where he's on, there are no other people in sight but just him. He felt as if he's free and own the world by staying alone in a calm and beautiful place.
Hyde sat down on the sand, near where the water of the sea would reach his feet once the waves comes back to the shore, he love the feeling when it touch his feet.
Because of the relaxed vibe, the sun were not too high and hot, maybe it's giving him assent to enjoy but Hyde felt like singing. Eversince he was young, he had a particular love for music, especially for singing, he even though about becoming a singer but it stayed as a childhood dream.
"I know you don’t really have feelings for me, no matter what, you’re not interested
But I’m not someone who gives up"
Hyde started to sing a mellow and soft song, he thinks it suits the atmosphere while he's standing by the sea and it would get along with his current state, whenever he feels glee or however overwhelming the emotion is, he turn it into singing. It does make him feel better.
"You’ll see how wonderful I am
But it’s like I’m still not the guy you want
I’m ready to do anything
I’m ready to seize you in every way
I refuse to let you walk with anyone else
I refuse to let anyone else stand beside you
No matter how long it takes
I’ll try to make you mine
I refuse to let anyone else love you"
*Clap *clap!
When he finished chorus, he turned around as he heard a sound of clapping and there he found the guy who talked to him in the lounge when he was waiting for K. He introduced himself as Sage Casper Garcia.
"Oh wow! I didn't know you got such a golden voice, you sound really pleasant in the ear and I'm not lying when I say this but your voice possess such a healing power!"
Hyde doesn't know if this guy is bluffing or not but the sudden compliment made him utterly blush.
"Don't exaggerate and please.. stop talking to me, we're not close." He's cranky which didn't take Sage by surprise, he's used to it.
"That hurts! I thought.. we became close that night."
The mention of that night made Hyde turn to Sage's direction and glared at him.
"That was an act of humanity. I simply helped you, flying monster."
"Ahermm"
Sage was embarassed hearing from Hyde the words flying monster because he was reminded of how embarrassing he was the night he moved in in his new apartment.
"Well uhm.. that.. that's why I wanted to repay your kindness but, uh,"
Hyde laughed mockingly as he grasped a handful of sand, releasing them slowly from his palm.
"Just don't talk to me. That's the best thing to do to repay me."
The other guy didn't speak so Hyde got curious if he was still there, he turned to see him walking towards where he's sitting and closely sat next to him, Hyde immediately moved away.
"You're really hurting me, Hyde."
"Jeez, you're annoying!"
Hyde groaned because of how irritable he is with the presence of the other man also upon hearing his singing that he keep to himself. Somehow, he is reminded how they met and how pathetic the other man is as well as his persistence.

"That is the most tiring yet satisfying lie I have ever lived in this life"
Hyde is used to lying big. Some of it are mostly white lies to protect himself but tonight, he didn't just lie, he pretended to be someone else, fooling other people.
"Henrica? Pfft-- hahahaha!!!" He couldn't help but laugh as he removed the dress off his body, recalling how he even came up with a sudden name.
Hyde arrived at his apartment not earlier than midnight, it's almost three am in the morning, the party ended at eleven of the night yet Keikazu, his dense boss who had no idea he dressed up as a girl and pretended to be his girlfriend made him stay with him for awhile as if flirting with him, not noticing he's his secretary. Somehow, it crossed Hyde's mind.
"So that is our stoic boss's type? The kind of girl who is demure but knows how to be tough and independent?"
There were alot of people trying to shame and ridicule Henrica at the party especially the host, Mr. Gibson who was fuming mad when he saw her coming in hand-in-hand with K. They were the focus.
"Ah, whatever. I want my sleep." After he's done taking off every fabric on his body, he proceeded to go to the bathroom to wash his face, nevermind a full body and shower, he's tired as it is.
Walking out from the bathroom, Hyde changed to his pajama and were about to jump to his bed when a knock on his door summoned him to open it, wondering who could it be at this time of the day, it's almost the devil's hour and whatever that is on his door, he need to check.
Opening it, a restless guy with disheveled hair, bared chest, and only his boxer's on came into his view. He couldn't help but let out a cough and almost slammed the door at the stranger's face if not for the latter completely blocking him from doing it.
"H-help" The stranger's eyes were moist, as if on the verge of crying.
In Hyde's eyes, he appears like some kind of p*****t and he doesn't wanna be associated.
"What do you need?"
Yet the kind citizen he is, he couldn't help it. The guy looks worst.
The stranger's eyes lit up with his question and sigh deeply to compose himself before talking. "There is a, uh, flying monster in my room"
As if to make him regret his decision, what the stranger blurted made Hyde's eyes to bulge out.
"Hold it, what flying monster? Are you high? Myghad go away or I'll call the police"
On an attempt to close his door, the stranger's groggy face contorted as he fall down to the floor, kneeling.
"Please.. I- I'm scared with the creation of the underworld"
Rolling his eyes heavenwards, Hyde tried to compose himself, taking pity to the guy.
"What the hell is a flying monster or a creation of the underworld? I need a human language not some alien one."
As if he's pulled back to reality, the stranger stood back up and said, almost shouting, "A roach!"
"A what?"
"A six-legged creation of the underworld, what we call a flying monster, a roach!"
"Ugh! Then call pest control."
"I already did but they were not coming."
"Not my problem!"
"Please..!"
"What do you need me to do?"
"K-kill it."
"You're such a baby, lead the way."
As the kind citizen he is, Hyde ended up coming over to the stranger's house on his way to.. kill a roach.
When they got inside his neighbors apartment which was next to his own, the guy tiptoed to his bedroom and quickly switched the lights on. In a discreet manner, he proceeded to scan the room, with his heart racing-- when he saw the little devil on his sheets, he went about running, circling in his room and screaming loud, Hyde giving him a judgmental look.
The guy who hasn't introduced himself yet cleared his throat in embarassment. "Should I bring you a slipper to kill it?" He asked, "or maybe I should get you a cockroach spray?"
Hyde didn't answer instead he scanned his target and while the other guy were creeped out with the sight of the roach, Hyde set out and caught it with his bare hands, grabbing it on its antenna, walked to the window, flung it open and threw the little b***h outside.
Making the other guy who's scared out of his wits feel his stomach churning in disgust.
"Y-YOU! DID YOU JUST TOUCH IT?" He gagged.
