Storm
Silence took over my dimly lit room after our friends left. I thanked them sincerely for helping me out. I was so grateful to have them. If it weren’t for them, I had already lost my sanity.
Lulu was peacefully sleeping in my bed. She was snoring softly. She gave me quite a heart attack an hour ago. I might have acted calm in front of our friends but I was so close to trembling. My heart was beating so fast, thumping in my chest angrily. The moment she fell unconscious in my arms, my mind was blocked for a minute but it felt like forever until I finally got out of that state. I was so close to bringing her to the hospital but I didn't want Lulu to wake up the next morning in unfamiliar surroundings. At least she would know she was with me when she saw the room.
