CHAPTER NINETEEN
Keira was still fuming when she got back to her hotel suite. She couldn’t believe how much Cristiano had manipulated her. She felt like she had seriously dodged a bullet by breaking up with him when she had. A relationship with him would have been a disaster! But it also shook her up a bit to think about how different someone could turn out to be from the person you first thought they were.
The suite was spotlessly clean, but Balthazar was nowhere in sight. Keira slumped down onto the couch and kicked off her shoes. She sighed sadly, disappointed with how things had gone. She had no idea what this meant for the article either. She still had four more days left in Greece, and now she had no one to spend them with! Talk about going off-script…
