CHAPTER FOURTEEN Keira woke early the next morning, her body clock still out of sync from the time zone difference. She pulled on the luxury fluffy dressing gown and slipper combo that the hotel had provided and headed out into the main living area. It was spotless, her mess from yesterday already cleared away. She could hear the sound of Balthazar in the kitchen and decided to say hello. She pushed open the door. Balthazar turned and smiled politely. “Would you like some breakfast?” he asked. Keira’s stomach growled. She’d made plans to have lunch with Cristiano, but that wouldn’t be for hours and hours now since she’d woken so early. “That would be nice, thank you. But just something small to tide me over.” She went to leave, then turned back and added, “I’ll have it in bed, thanks.
