After they discussed everything with Major Peter Lin, Lawrence and Hunter went out of his office. Lawrence walked fast and wanted to go back to their billet and to avoid the army captain.
"Dr. Xiao, are you doing this to mock me in front of my CO?" Hunter Gu walked fast and walked alongside Lawrence. He sounds annoyed.
"Of course not. Whatever I reported to him is nothing to do with you. If he called you because of that then you asked him why? What I told him is just the truth, as I don't want to waste my time coming here without a positive result in the end. There's a lot of patients waiting for me, looking for me at the military hospital, but I choose to come here to help and not to waste the money that they paid me and to destroy my profession for a nonsense reason."
