“Is she upset with me?” Reid’s mind raced with thoughts.
Reid was in bed, his body and mind both wanting to sleep. He tried to close his eyes several times, thinking sleep would help him feel better. But no matter how hard he tried, his spirit refused to fall asleep or give in to the drowsiness that eluded him.
