After some minutes as she left, Martin came out of the bathroom. He had finished taking his bath already for some time now, but still remained in the bathroom as he did not want to disrupt their conversation. He came out of the bathroom and pretended as if he did not overhear anything that Alice discussed with her sister. Whereas, he had some of the discussion and heard what Alice said concerning the situation. He could understand Alice's point, adding to the fact that he hated Elizabeth for all that she had done towards her so he would not convince her to do anything against her will.
