When it was morning, the first thing Elizabeth did was to call the chief of the security that she had placed around the house and the gate man to give her the report of last night. When they came before her in the sitting room they greeted in the normal way as they waited for her to say the next words even though they knew the reason for their being. They had to wait for the question to be asked first before giving their report since it could be that their instincts were wrong.
"Give your report for last night. Did you find anyone trying to leave the house?" She asked as he knew they would have to hear her question before speaking.
