Unfortunately for Martin, when he came to meet his father in the evening too, Denley was already fast asleep as early as eight in that evening. This was not a problem to him as he said to himself that his body needed the rest. So he left him again after watching for over thirty minutes but not up to an hour.
He returned to his room to sleep with his wife as he believed that she would be waiting for him so they could sleep and also discussed the outcome of his discussion with Denley.
When he came into the room, Alice was already lying on the bed as she concluded that since Martin spent a while in the room because she knew when he left to see him, then he must have discussed things with his father and they'd reached a conclusion.
