This night could only get richer and richer with how quickly she pivoted away from him. At first she was giving with information he craved and now, even after he saved her from the Armed Guard, by humiliating himself, no less, she has the audacity to not only call him a liar but also ask if he’s possessed.
What the actual f**k is going on in that head of hers, he wondered.
Perhaps he stared too long after. Her eyes were wide and waiting. Her question still swam in her mind as well as on the tip of her tongue which made him want to tease her out of this stupor.
