‘Leia. . .’ Emily called her wolf.
Seconds later, Leia speaks up through her mind. ‘Yes, Emily? How are you?’
She sighed. ‘Good but weak,’ she chuckled a bit. ‘I’m not feeling well; I felt weak,’ Emily said.
‘Rest, Emily. That’s all you need; rest, and don’t be a slave to that Alpha.’
Emily nodded her head. ‘I know, but I don’t know what I should feel right now. He’s worried sick, and he was mad, though I couldn’t believe it.’
It was a long silence between them, but only a sigh was heard. Leia was not even talking and just waiting for Emily’s thoughts.
‘I’m not sure about this, Leia, but something is off with him,’ she sighed. ‘I couldn’t understand him, especially with his sudden actions towards me. He’s soft; then he’s fuming mad, again.’
