I enter the library with Marcus on my heels. The pack is already getting settled and it looks like Robert's wounds are healing. But slowly.  Good.  I look around the room and see Leon ascending the spiral stairs to the second floor. I make a move to follow him but a hand catches mine. I turn.  "I think we should stick close," Marcus mumbles.  My heart speeds up slightly. I don't let the tingling in my hand or the shivers running down my spine stop me.  "I need to speak with my brother. I need him," I say firmly and not unkindly.  But I can tell by the flutter of  emotion passing over his face that Marcus takes it as such. Unkindly. He presses his mouth in a hard line and pulls his hand back quickly.  "Fine." He disappears to tend to his pack. Frustration washes over me but I do not
