On Wednesday morning, Nanette returns home with Viona. As soon as the little girl steps onto the porch, she starts shouting, "Daddy... Daddy... Daddy..." Valdi, who is having breakfast with Valdo in the dining room, looks over at Viona in surprise. "Whose child is this entering our house without permission and yelling for daddy?" he wonders in his mind, utterly bewildered.
