They arrive at Lucas's house right at 5 o'clock in the evening. Cynthia's silver car is already parked in Lucas's garage. Nanette smiles with satisfaction, thinking that whatever advice she gave to Cynthia seems to have worked. For weeks now, Lucas has only been visiting their home on Saturdays and Sundays to see Valdi, and it's always with Cynthia by his side.
