Two days have passed, and Nanette remains silent in her room. She hasn't left her room, not even to eat. Sumi, the old maid, delivers her food to Nanette's room. Valdo watches from the dining table as Sumi brings the food in, and when Sumi leaves, the food remains untouched. Sumi can't bear it any longer and speaks to Valdo, who is sitting at the dining table.
"Master Valdo , you should go into the room and persuade Ma'am to eat. She hasn't had anything to eat for two days. She could get sick if this continues."
"She hasn't touched it at all?" Valdo asks with concern.
"At most, just a bite of rice and soup. She hasn't eaten anything else," Sumi says quietly.
"Please make some milk. I will go in to persuade Ma'am to have some milk," Valdo says.
Sumi nods obediently and heads to the kit
