“Asleep. He’s getting depressed. All he’s done today is asleep. He didn’t get out of bed, only when Helios left, and then he went straight back to bed and went back to sleep.”
Damian ran a hand through his hair. “One of you needs to go see Alec. He’s getting on my nerves.”
“I’ll go,” Alice said.
“No,” Damian said. “Matt should. I’ll take you.”
Matt tensed. “No. It’s fine. Alice can go. She should see her brother.”
“No, Matt. It’s you. Let’s go.”
Matt inhaled a shaky breath and nodded, looking at his friends once before following Damian.
“That was horrible of you,” Amber snapped as she glared at Oliver.
“You had no right,” Ani snapped.
“And none of you have any right to tell me how to deal with Helios.”
“But you’re hurting him!” Amber yelled. Max groaned a little as he shuffled
