And we haven’t seen him in a while.” Max had zoned out while they discussed whether it could be Maureen. He was trying to wrap his head around that Alec was alive. He had spent months grieving him, and there had been no reason for him to. He had slept without him for months, and he had no reason to do so. His friends had all known that Alec was alive, but they hadn’t told him. He could see it from their point of view he could, but that didn’t change the fact that he had been grieving him for months.
