"I needed to make that joke. I saw you were being overly guarded with me, and I understand why. You are the Beta, and I am the Luna, and based on history, those combinations are bad news,"
"Yes, they are, and I was just trying to keep my respectful distance," he explained and to which I understood perfectly well what he meant by that.
