Braxton and I have been best friends since we were young boys. Even as a young boy, Braxton has always been a protector, he has saved my ass more times than I can count. We have been through so much together. That's one of the reasons that I was surprised and honored that he asked me to be his Beta! I knew that he needed someone in that position that he could trust to have his back. Braxton couldn't really trust the former Beta to not betray him because his father and Ben, the former beta, had no children, so I was the logical and really only choice Braxton had.
