Pad’s drive to Orlando to visit Jen took more than an hour. Luckily, traffic on Saturday happened to be less than the weekday as he left south Tampa, took the interstate and, after fighting the traffic near the theme park areas of Disney, Sea World, and Universal, where traffic slowed to a crawl in spots, he arrived at Jen and Jack’s place, near the University of Central Florida. Since Jen, the smarter of the twins, graduated a year earlier, she remained in Oviedo, the town near the school, even though her job as graphic designer required her to commute downtown. Her choice allowed Jack to easily ride the local bus or bike to the campus from their apartment. But by the weekend, after a long week of the stressful drives, she jumped at any chance to blow off steam and party.
