The Traitor

2439 Words

Athena's P.O.V. The feeling of death that usually envelopes my body like fire, is tamer than usual, as I watch Sean kill all of the rogues who are truly our enemies.  I watch the face of the rogue I had just tortured, to make sure he shows no empathy towards his fellow rogues, only to notice that he has no remorse on his face whatsoever.  I wanted to make sure he showed no remorse towards them, because it would show me that he's truly on our side.  I look over at the other three rogues he told us not to kill, only to see fear on their faces because they think they're going to be killed along with the rest of them.  Every time Sean passes by one of their cells without killing them, they only show relief as well, which proves to me that they only did what they did to save their families too
