Soon after, Yurin walked towards them and Wesley saw the man he hated so much.

Yurin nodded to greet them and said nothing else.

‘Mr Yurin, it’s been quite some time.’ Rainie said.

‘Miss Rainie.’ Yurin smiled.

‘Eh, why are you here with Queenie? She’s pregnant?’ Rainie said, looking surprised.

‘Yes.’ Yurin nodded while staring at Wesley.

‘Congratulations!’ Rainie said, she was rather surprised at how fast Queenie found her next romance. Which is good for her, that means she’ll stay further away from Wesley.

‘Let us know when you guys get married okay.’ Rainie said while holding onto Wesley’s hand.

‘I guess it’ll be you guys first.’ Yurin said while smiling.

All these words are stabbing Queenie’s heart like a knife, she looked at Wesley with tears in her eyes, but he didn’t even look back.

‘Yeah, we’re preparing for our wedding already. It won’t look nice if we wait any longer, as my tummy is getting bigger.’ Rainie said while blushing.

She’s delighted that Queenie’s unhappy, she’s happy that she won the battle. Wesley is hers.

Queenie felt heartbroken after hearing about the wedding, recalling that when she married Wesley, there’s no wedding banquet at all. They just signed the papers, that’s all.

Indeed, love makes someone different.

‘Congratulations in advance then.’ Yurin said.

‘I’m waiting for your wedding with Queenie too, don’t forget to invite us!’ Rainie said.

‘We will. We’ll head in for the check up first.’ Yurin said and held onto Queenie’s shoulders, leading her into the doctor’s room.

Queenie walked in pretty quickly, clearly trying to escape from the both of them

Wesley’s pretty mad, as he didn’t know that Queenie’s living pretty well without him. He was even worried that she might not have enough to spend, but now it’s pretty clear that she doesn’t need him to worry.

‘Wesley? Let’s go in for the checkup?’ Rainie broke his train of thoughts.

‘You can go in yourself, I’ll go smoke a cigarette.’ Wesley said.

‘Alright then.’ Rainie said, feeling a little disappointed.

‘Try not to smoke so much, it’s bad for you.’ A voice appeared from behind.
