Tom was settling in a few weeks after moving back to Fort Canon. A lot had changed but he was lucky to find his girl still loved him. When they met for the first time since coming back she cried on his shoulder. He had expected quite the opposite like standing him up with hurling abuses at him. They had not already talked much about where he disappeared to and whether he was planning to stay for long. He didn't know this but Tina was even ready to elope with him. They say with desperation also comes courage. Tom couldn’t wait any longer for Tina to meet him so he risked going to her. She was not answering her cell. It was a stupid idea. Ronald knew him. They had met once or twice and in both occasions he wanted to shoot him.
