Jake was starting to get worried. He had been waiting for almost an hour by the restaurant. The waitress was making him uncomfortable by staring at him as though he was a snack and he did not know where Arya was. Slowly he drifted to the “what if “mode. It is usually a dangerous one and Jake cooked up hundreds of theories about what could really have happened to her. One that stood out most was where Ben was going to resurrect and strangle him at night while he was asleep or just his ghost. He even thought about calling Paul. What to tell him was the only thing he couldn’t seem to come up with.
“Hey your client is not here yet” the waitress asked, “Am Nancy” she added showing him the name tag.
“And am f****d up...sorry a bad day” Jake said checking on his watch.
