12 Reine Sir Raleigh and I crossed Main Street again and sat on the same bench as before. Although I hadn’t eaten breakfast too long before, I found myself craving the sweet treat in the bag from the Fudge Shoppe. I ate it piece by piece and pondered over everything I’d learned that morning. No matter how hard I tried to focus on it, I found my mind wandering. Before I knew it, I’d finished the brownie and wished I had another so I could see what the first one tasted like. And what had I been thinking about? I never missed the opportunity to savor chocolate. I licked my lips to seek any stray crumbs and found myself disappointed I couldn’t find any.
