Randy began to steal outrageously from Sobrina. She thought about ways of raising money, she decided to organize a fashion show which would generate her more money for the responsibility Randy and his host had become. She gave Randy over half the money, to pay for material needed. He squandered it with his companions. She had used her tuition to plan the whole affair, hoping to pay her fees after the success of the show. She lost her tuition, which was the only thing her parents could afford to give her yearly. And couldn't organize the show. Sobrina was deeply hurt, but could do nothing about it. Every morning, he demanded she got him breakfast from an expensive restaurant nearby, and she complied. He became such a burden that Sobrina began to travel to a nearby city in search of men who could pay her in exchange s*x - a trending student's business. She desperately needed money in order to sustain the relationship, herself and to pay her squandered tuition. One time during her travels, she was arrested by the police. A colleague whom she had had issues with had made sure of it. Sobrina had stolen her wardrobe - clothes and shoes - worth a good amount of money months ago, when she had tried accommodating her. The police locked Sobrina up at the station for days, she refused to reveal her identity, afraid of letting her parents find out she was not in school. She spent three days in the police cell, it was an awful experience. The Police let her go, four days later, when the other girl couldn't afford to make a case. Randy's attitude got so bad that Sobrina began to consider getting her own apartment. She managed to rent a room near-by, but she came around, round the clock to Randy's. About one year and four months into their relationship, and few weeks after she got her own apartment, Randy began having an affair. He made it so public. He would take the girl to the same restaurants and bars he had been remarked with Sobrina. The girl visited him at home anytime, regardless of how Sobrina felt. He would sit with her at the Blue Corner Shop, together with his friends, drinking. The same friends who had fed off of Sobrina for many months. Sobrina felt very disrespected. She once traced and found them together at a bar she used to frequent with Randy, and had a public fight with him. Randy protected the girl, took her away while Sobrina was forestalled by his friends. Sobrina was so mad that she smashed her cell phone against the wall. She returned to his house, and waited at the Blue Corner Shop. He arrived back home later that night with the girl by his side, accompanied by his friends. Sobrina was mad, after all she had been through? She grabbed him again. He gave her the beating of her life that night in front of his friends, people who had known them together for a very long time. She was humiliated and fought back the best she could. But while he beat her, he protected her from his gang who wanted to join hands in beating her up. You see? He was their boss and it was a terrible abrasion to watch him humiliated by whatsoever, not even by an ordinary girl. Taking her by the hand, they went upstairs to his room, much later, after the girl had left and things were beginning to settle. She was crying as she sheepishly followed him with a small feeling of triumph. "Look at you Aro-mate, see as you done dirty yourself finish because of this girl", one of his frustrated gang members shouted after them in Pidgin. It was that day Sobrina discovered all he was - a cultist. She already knew his friends were cultists and had began to understand their peculiar language, but she had thought they were just friends and nothing more. In his room, Randy attempted murdering Sobrina having been fired up by the out burst of his angry friend. He had quickly taken off his clothes the moment he bolted the door, and had grabbed her, placing his lips on hers, pretending to be kissing her. Sobrina thought he was actually trying to kiss her passionately after the fight they'd had, she returned his kisses without struggling. He grabbed her by the throat, and gently began squeezing harder and harder as they kissed, but he couldn't bring himself to finish her off. His love for her prevailed. They slept together side by side, Sobrina very naive in the midst of the pain around her throat. By the time Sobrina left the following morning, there were large bumps on the places where his fingers had squeezed the most. The bumps hurt terribly and took about a year long to disappear completely. At first, Sobrina in her naivety wasn't exactly sure what had caused them, not until after a few minths later, when her understanding had awoken. In the weeks that followed, she didn't see the other girl again, but every time she visited Randy, he was always in pains. His cult had demoted, and punished him week after week for failing to murder Sobrina as punishment for challenging him. Sobrina unknowingly nursed him back to health.
