Maybe I didn’t need to be so aggressive about the situation. Maybe there was a lot more that I could say to her in order to get her to leave without being this rude to her. In case I had managed to forget it, she was a demon. If I pushed the wrong button, then the chances of her actually taking me and injuring me, were through the roof.

There it was. She just proved me right, telling me that she just wanted to do find out how it was going with me. I took a deep breath, telling myself that I didn’t need to answer her.
