I scoffed at her ridiculous claim, but seeing how her face was slightly bleeding after I scratched her, it soothed the anger that was brewing inside me. Either way, I chuckled.
“Is that how desperate you are, Cresia?” I asked. “You are the one being delusional here. You force yourself to believe that our marriage is not real just so you could justify your cheating. That is insanity.”
I was expecting her to lose her temper, however, she just let out a sigh and stood. Once again, she turned her back on me and walked upstairs. W-Was she really going to get Nikolai’s stuff? As if I would let that happen. Scampering up my feet, I rushed towards the master’s bedroom and saw her getting inside the walk-in closet. I grabbed her arm.
“Stop being shameless already! Unless you want me to call the
