The next day, my sleep was interrupted when my phone kept on ringing. Even though I tried to ignore it, it just would not stop so I threw my blanket away and grabbed my phone.
Seeing the caller, it was just my nanny from the mansion.
“What?!” I yelled upon answering. “It’s just 7 in the morning so why are you bothering me?”
“Y-Young miss, y-your father wants you to come home as soon as possible. H-He needs to talk to you about something really i-important.”
The trembling of her voice told me that something bad must have happened so without question, I changed into some comfortable clothes and rushed downstairs. I could smell some bacon coming from the kitchen and I got down, Leo looked at me.
“You’re just in time. Breakfast is ready!”
“Sorry, but I have to hurry back home. See you!”
