"Back to you, Alpha Dean. Did she really steal that jewelry?" The King asked, going closer to him with his claws dripping blood. Anna's blood.
"No. She wasn’t the one. Her jewelry was never missing from the start," Alpha confessed, as his shoulders sagged in defeat.
I watched him in horror. Was this really our leader? Was he really an Alpha by blood? Why didn't he have the instinct to protect his people? Why was he hell-bent on making us miserable instead? Me, especially.
