Chapter 20: Round Tree Inn 11:34 P.M. Patrick had too much to drink to drive. Someone, including me, should have taken the keys to his Dakota away from him and prevented a problem. Too many young people died because of drinking and driving. I think everyone in their lives can explain a death of a friend, acquaintance, or relative who had accidentally passed away while driving drunk, or just happened to be a passenger when the driver was inebriated. Young adults, middle-aged people, and seniors are all guilty of risky practices, including Patrick Brogan. The Round Tree Inn was approximately one and half miles from the Tuckerton Orchard. It was raining, and there wasn’t a star in the sky because the clouds were too thick. The Dakota’s wipers flicked back and forth, but seemed useless. Thu
