Chapter 16: Something About Your Tenderness Dinner consisted of roast beef, pulled pork sandwiches, barbecue ribs, greens, an assortment of salads, and three different types of potatoes. Patrick and I sat with four college boys, which we had learned were all lovers and living in the same frat house some ten miles north. One of the frat boys was Tanner’s nephew and eerily resembled the groom. The pack was adorable with their nineteen-year-old good looks, fuzz on their chins, and youngish attitudes. Although they were underage, unable to legally drink at the function, it was quite evident by the aromatic scent of beer in their red Solo cups that they were enjoying adult beverages and would become sloppy within the next few hours.
