“Is he here yet?” Akira asked as he stood up from his desk. The usual hustle and bustle could be heard from the surrounding desks from outside the wide opened door.
“Boss is in his office. But I wouldn’t approach him today. You seem to have upset him.” Ruby said as she turned the man a cold shoulder. She didn’t even glance at him while replying. Simply focusing on the work on her own desk.
“I guess it’s to be expected.” Akira remarked as he sat back down and sighed. ‘Is he really that upset about last night?’ He wondered to himself, still unable to understand what he’d done so wrong to deserve that outcome.
