Outside was peaceful and cold… Snow was yet to fall in this part of the city, as if it was waiting its turn to do so. Meanwhile the sun’s light crept behind the clouds but no actual warmth could be felt that day…
‘It’s not really the best weather today, is it…’ Ruby thought to herself, even though the boys she was with didn’t seem to mind it. She on the other hand felt colder than usual. ‘I’m probably getting old…’ She tightened the scarf that was hanging loosely around her neck and across her shoulders. It was a scarf she received long ago from Samuel. Who was her first partner that died tragically from an illness that couldn’t be cured. She held onto the scarf as a very important item in her life, something she never wanted to let go off.
