Addison walked slowly toward the woman who had once been her boss. Leaning against the car driven by a driver Addison didn’t recognize, Sondra Sheehan was dressed to the nines just as she always was. It seemed motherhood hadn’t slowed her down in the least, she thought, stopping a good five feet away. She simply stared.
