I stared after Sara in shock. I hadn't expected her to be that upset about the situation. I'd figured she'd argue with me a little and then blow my suggestion off, but it seemed that I'd really touched a nerve. I sighed heavily before getting up and following after her. I winced as I reached the hallway and I could hear her banging things around in the kitchen.
When I reached the kitchen, I stood in the doorway silently and watched her as she moved around, getting dinner started. Tension was evident in everything that she did as she went through the motions.
