Jaxon I ran a hand down my face as I examined my reflection in the mirror, turning my head from side to side. It was fair to say that I'd looked better. I looked positively disheveled. I had stopped shaving after Sara had gone missing, and now I looked like a wild man. I sighed heavily as I opened the bathroom cabinet and bent down, searching for a new can of shaving cream. A shave wouldn't bring Sara back, but it would hopefully make me feel more like myself and ground me. I was afraid that I was slowly losing it with every passing day. I frowned heavily at the first thing that caught my eye, an opened box of pregnancy tests. I reached for it, dread creeping up my spine. Why would Sara have these? And why wouldn't she have told me about them? I straightened up with the box in my hand
