“You’ve been in here a long time. What are you doing?” I asked, leaning against the door frame. I knew exactly what he was doing. I wanted him to fill me in, and commit to his promise to share everything with me. Jaxon looked up at me and sighed.
“I’m researching Antonio Marino. That’s the main man that Cynthia has been working with. Leon is looking into him right now. He’s very dangerous, a ruthless killer. I need to know everything about him and his organization if we are going to beat him.”
“Tell me what you’ve learned,” I asked. I kept my eyes hard on Jaxon. He knew it wasn’t really a request. He took a deep breath again.
“Not much yet. Mostly just names of people known to associate with him. There's not much to share right now.”
