Sara I heard Jaxon come in, and I was looking forward to surprising him. I knew he was out all day for meetings, and I assumed that it had to do with work. It was a little strange that he hadn’t shared the details with me, but I wasn’t particularly concerned about it. My husband was a passionate man, and when he was focused he tended to forget about things like that. Since Jaxon was out, I decided to make his favorite lasagne for dinner. I’d even called his mother to get the recipe. We weren’t exactly the best of friends yet, but she was trying, and I was determined to do the same. We talked for a while, and she told me an adorable story of how when Jaxon was a kid he invited his imaginary friend to eat that lasagne with the family.
