CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT
"Aaron. Please listen to me." I gripped his hand but he sighed and pulled his hand free. He stopped his Audi R8 in front of Alvido's house. My old house.
“Aaron, making ka naman sa akin. Walang nangyari. Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya ito ginagawa.”
Hindi siya sumagot, nanatili lang na mahigpit ang hawak niya sa manibela.
“He’s trying to tear us apart, Aaron.” Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya. “Please don’t let him succeed.”
Napasabunot siya sa buhok niya.
"Get out of my car, Cassidy," nanghihinang sambit niya.I tried to come closer but he blocked me with his arm. "Please. Don't make this harder for both of us. Just get out of my car. Please." His voice was almost cracking and I swallowed a lump forming on my throat.
