Chapter 1
There was a book with mysterious title. It's title is a language we never heard of. The book itself is a complete mystery. No one know who's the author nor when and where it was published. It was a story about the daughter of a Marquess who admired the Duke who saved the Kingdom. However, the other daughter of another Marquess loved the Duke as well. She was named as Amelia Alorie-- The villain of the novel. She was the evilest in the novel. Blackmailing the Duke, k********g the protagonist, and all other evil things she can think. His father, mother, brother, and butler stood by her side. The story is indeed a complete mystery. Not only because it's origin wasn't know-- --it was also because it was incomplete. It ended at the part where the Duke ordered them to execute the Alorie Family-- including the butler. Amelia was hinted that she escaped. However, it all ends there. And it seems that I have been-- --reincarnated as the 'Villain' "Young Lady, wake up. I will prepare your earl grey tea while you're in the bathroom." It was a smooth old voice. He had a good voice-- what a good day to start. Who is he? I'm too sleepy to think. "Thank you." I dragged myself to the bathroom. It would be nice to sleep a little more... First, I should wash my face-- Wait! Who is this?! Where am I?! Fancy mirror that cost me a decades to buy, shiny, extravagant furnitures, large bathroom-- more than 8x than my room, and moreover-- --Who is this woman in front of the mirror?! Long, shiny, black hair, face as beautiful as a doll, and a perfect figure anyone would die to have. Don't tell me--! "Who am I?!" I rushed out of the bathroom. The butler looked at me full of curiosity. He's probably wondering what happened to me. "You are Lady Amelia Alorie." I am doomed. I admit I like her beauty but what's bothering me is that she got too many enemies here! Haa, I'll find a way to have a peaceful life... "Young Lady?" The old butler worriedly asked. His voice was as if he was talking to his grandchildren. He must been fond of me? "Ah, yes. Sorry for spacing out!" I grinned as I apologized. After all, I should be nice to everyone. "Young Lady..." He muttered quietly but heard. His face looked shocked as if he was seeing the impossible. Well, of course, a normal reaction. She never apologized. She would've snapped at it right now. "Well then, I'll go wash up now...!" I awkwardly rushed to the bathroom. Stepping here feels like you're royalty-- which I literally am. Shiny floor, that fancy gold framed mirror, and that expensive looking chandelier-- who put chandelier in bathrooms? Light bulb will do. Sigh... rich people. After taking a bath, it was the greatest bath I ever took. After picking out lots of clothes, I wondered... Why is there no shirt or jeans?! What's with fancy dresses? I'm only staying at home... I picked out the light blue dress with white frills on the end, a blue pendant on the middle. It was pretty nice. It was also my first time wearing one. "Young lady, your tea is ready." The butler said as I went out the bathroom. The fragrant aroma made my mood lighten up. "Grandpa! Your tea is seriously amazing!" The balanced taste. Not sweet, nor bitter. It's just right. He could open up a coffee shop. I was about to say another word, but when I looked at him, his face was shocked. I guess because I called him Grandpa? "Ah, sorry, is it uncomfortable for you to be called Grandpa?" I just can't call him butler or anything. Grandpa is the best name for him. "Ah, no. In fact, I was delighted to hear that. You may call me as you wish." He bowed down slightly with his right hand of his chest. His face says he was delighted-- no, more than delighted. He was extremely happy. "Thank you!" I continued sipping on my tea. The birds were quite happy today. I totally envy them. Who would be happy reincarnating in the book you read after being crashed into by a truck, to make it worse, I was reincarnated as the villain-- the villain everyone hates. "Young lady, it is time for breakfast." Oh, what a fancy watch you got there. I followed him all the way through. The dinning room was more extravagant than I thought. "The Master-- Your Father, will be coming down soon. As well as young master and The Mistress." He bowed down elegantly and stood still by my side. I also forgot to mention. The food looks delicious. I bet the price of that meat cost like almost my month budget of food. "My daughter! You came down early!" A loud cheery voice was heard. Of course, I know who it was. There's only one person who dotes too much on me-- The Marquess, her father-- Diroe Alorie. "G-Good morning..." I awkwardly said like a robot. They all paused. Shock was visible on their eyes. "G-Good morning..." Father said still in shock, but he looks happy. Next to him is The Marchioness, my Mother-- Aleia Alorie. She did not mutter a word. However, shock was visible on her face. My older brother, Lerio Alorie, the most annoying character I saw in the novel immediately ran towards me and placed his shoulders on my shoulders. "Oh? What did ya drink?" He started to annoy. It was his everyday routine. No day was done without him bothering the 'Villain'. However, he was also the one who stood up next to his sister. He was also called a villain. No, everyone was called a villain. "I... uh... I realize I was wrong so... I'm sorry." I said something that made their jaw dropped. Even the butler who was composed the whole time. "That's great!" This bastard brother of mine ruffled my hair making it a mess. "So... Amelia, do you have plans for your future? You're gonna be 18 soon." Father asked. Honestly, all I wanted is to be free. I want to just lay all day, relaxing my life, and living the best life. It would be great if I were just a side character or a background character. Well, let's just say... "A magician." They all paused. Silence filled the air. It was pretty awkward to eat. "Wait! Who are you?!" Lerio stood up and shook me. Dude calm down. "I want to be a magician to help people." Just joking. I want to be a magician because that's the first thing entered my mind. "Well then, your Dad and I will support you!" Mother said. She was grinning from ear to ear. Man, she's too beautiful. Totally got this looks on her. "Thank you." I smiled brightly. My brother was looking at me with disbelief. Well, yes. Normal reaction. "What is it? 'Brother'?" Okay, I'm gonna turn the tables. I'll annoy you from now on. "Eek! Mom, Dad! She's probably doing something!" His face turned blue. I want to laugh right now. "What do you mean? Well, she turned into an amazing person so she's probably not doing anything!" Dad, what do you mean probably. "Well then, you can enjoy your breakfast. Your Mom and I still have work to do." "Hey...!" Lerio frowned at me. Oh? Did I succeed on annoying him? "Yes, 'Brother'?" Man, this is fun. Ppqq "You eat something bad, did you?" He crossed his arms looking disgusted and annoyed. Oh my, I did not. Actually, I'm not your sister I'm just a normal person. "What do you mean, 'Brother'?" I can't get enough of this. Annoying him will be the best part here. His face turned super disgusted. Man, his face is blue. I seriously want to laugh here. "I-I'm done here..." He walked away, devastated at my attitude. Tables are turned, Brother. Man, this steak is good. "Young Lady, what are your plans for today?" Grandpa followed me around. I hate the idea of this but, I do not have a choice. "Study magic." They said dying will be peaceful. No, I got reincarnated as a villain who died at the ending and forced to study magic to save my life and avoid the Duke as much as possible. This is giving me headache. "As you wish, Young Lady." Man, I'm still not used to this royalty life. Well, at least I'm rich. The library is too huge. Bigger than my elementary school library. The enormous shelves, perfect light for reading, and a peaceful one. It looks great but going upstairs is hell. Why is that stairs so huge. "Oh, can I be alone here, Grandpa?" He's been standing over me for an hour. Don't his feet hurts? He's also old... Well, he was once an assassin recruited by Father. He was once called-- The Merciless Assassin. He killed whoever he was told to. No one know about his name only a small percent knows-- Cler Lesloien "Thank you, Young Lady. Call me if you need anything." Finally. Surprisingly, I can understand the language here. Ok, time for headache. It's only a matter of time until I meet the Duke. I should avoid him as much as possible. "Young Lady is all grown up now..." It felt like it was hours ago when she was still a baby. But I've been wondering... What happened to make her change her attitude? "Oh? A carriage?" I wasn't informed of any visitors... Is it perhaps the Marquess who invited? "S-Sir! T-There's trouble!" The young maid ran to me. "Calm down. What is the trouble?" "The Duke! The Duke is visiting!" What? I thought it was next week. Young Lady is sure not ready for this... "Get ready. Everyone, gather on the entrance and greet the Duke. I'll be following you shortly." My Lord, what are you thinking... "Hmm? Why are they rushing outside? That carriage looks too fancy..." I'll go check it out. I need rest. Studying for 30 minutes is too much for my head. I didn't got reincarnated for this headache. I went out the library. There were no people around. To be honest, I'm lost. I mean who wouldn't be lost when this place is huger than your house. "Oh, finally saw the stairs. Great, my feet." I am dying, again. I should start exercising... I reached for the front door to open. No people around. The garden too quiet. Did they disappeared and I'm the only one left here? That would be great. I walked over the garden, none. I went over the side and there was none. Where did everyone go... Oh! I heard some voices. And there, I made the worst decision anyone could make-- I ran. And bumped into a 'wall'? Wait wall? "Watch where you walk." I froze. The voice alone can send shiver down your spine. There's only one person. It can't be-- Duke Louis Arthur Devistone!
