“Now sir… Would you like to expand more upon why you were whining like a little baby before?” Despite Lola’s professional tone, it was difficult not to see where she was speaking to her employer rather informally. Then yet this was her usual way of speaking, she was a professional and so was the other man, but they both knew there was no reason to speak formally to each other all the time. And it seemed like Lola was simply adding ‘sir’ every once in a while for good measure.
“Elizabeth’s in a relationship.” Billy said without really paying any mind to the little backhanded insult the woman had thrown his way. He had long accepted it was the way they would speak to each other and he didn’t find any fault in it either.
