“You’re here?” Gabriel asked as he turned to look at the woman that carefully took her seat next to the man. ‘I didn’t think she’d come around…’ He thought to himself as he looked at her. ‘Has she been crying?’ Her makeup seemed to be a bit messed up but it looked like she had tried to hide it in a hurry so Gabriel decided not to mention it.
“Does it surprise you?” Elizabeth asked with a calm voice, most of the shaking had already stopped yet it was obvious something was still on her mind. ‘Good thing the room is dark… I hope he doesn’t see my face clearly…’ The lights were off and the only source of light was the TV on which Gabriel had set up the movie they were going to watch.
