"We are here!" Thomas says in excitement as he gets out of the car to open the door for me.
I should be excited, but now that Lionel has filled my mind with his suggestions, I'm having second thoughts. No doubt I'd be safe with Thomas, but I just feel like getting back with him wasn't the right move.
What if it doesn't work like before?
What if he finds someone else again?
"Are you okay?" He asks as he opens the door for me.
"Yea, why?"
"You seem a little lost."
"I'm fine." I get out and notice the house. It's still the same house he had before he left town.
I thought he'd sold it when he moved away. Apparently he didn't.
"Still own the house."
"Yea, I wouldn't sell such an investment." He walks to the back of the car to get my bag as I walk close to the entrance.
