Chapter 10 Rebecca heard Nathan’s voice call up to her and hurried from the couch she was sitting on while she talked on the phone, to look over the railing at him. Surprised and pleased to see him, she motioned for him to come up and then finished her call while he came upstairs. “Really, Dad, I’m fine. And tell Nana not to worry so much,” she listened for a second and then with a roll of her eyes, answered her father. “The weather is so bad I’ll be staying inside today. And knowing that thin southern blood, so will Keith. So, my chances of seeing him are slim. Listen, I have company—Nathan. I promise to call you later in the week.
