Atlas Wylde is the ruthless and powerful alpha of Titan Mountain Pack, one of the strongest packs in the country. His pack is one of the only ones blessed by Ares, the God of War. At 28 years old, Atlas has not found his mate. He has had many lovers, but none satisfy him. He needs his mate. Atlas is an old-fashioned male and believes his mate belongs at home birthing pups and taking care of the home. He doesn't allow females in his pack to train.

Griffin Lockhart is one of the strongest warriors in the country. Her brain for battle strategy is well known throughout the allied packs. Most assume she is male because of her name. Griffin has never had the desire to settle down and raise pups. She would rather train to become one of the king's royal elite warriors. She has also been asked to be the gamma and head warrior for the future king.

At the annual Alpha summit, Atlas meets his fated mate, Griffin. The two clash immediately, and both strive to change the other's mind of values and life. Griffin defies Atlas every chance she gets.

When Atlas finally drives Griffin to leave. He learns the truth about their fated pairing and has to win back his mate or lose everything.

Hybrid Problem
Atlas "Oh, baby," I moaned out as I wrapped my hands through the topless blonde's hair. I looked down at the she-wolf who had my d**k in her mouth. She bobbed and sucked my massive c**k and nearly choked as I thrust it into her mouth. "Atlas!" The door of my office burst open, revealing my beta, Jed. He saw what was going on and turned his head. "Oh s**t! Sorry." A growl rumbled out of me. "What the f**k, Jed? You know better than to just bust into my office," I snarled. I looked at the she-wolf. She was looking at Jed and had covered her massive t**s. "Did I tell you to stop?" She shook her head. "Now suck until I nut in your mouth." I flicked my eyes to my embarrassed beta. "What did you burst in here for?" "I'll wait till-" "Jed!" I snarled in my alpha tone. "Tell me what you came in here for." Even a beta as strong as Jed was unable to disobey an alpha command. "We caught five more." He announced. I pulled the she-wolf to her feet even though I hadn't nutted in her mouth yet. "You can leave. The men have work to do," I released her and pushed her away. "But Alpha-" My eyes flashed with anger. "I said get out!" I yelled in my tone. With a cry, she ran from my office, not bothering to pick up her shirt. "Okay, Jed, speak," I said to my beta, which was still staring at the opposite wall. "Can you put your d**k away first?" He mumbled. With a chuckled, I zipped up my pants. "It's not like you haven't seen my d**k before." Jed turned around and then sat in a chair in front of my large desk. "As I said, we caught five more hybrids sneaking onto the territory." He explained. "It's like they wanted to be caught. Dalton is escorting them to the cells." He explained. Dalton is my Gamma and third in command. I rubbed my face with my massive hand. For months my pack Titan Mountain was being plagued by hybrids. Wolves that are also half-vampire. I thought I had gotten rid of them years ago, but they had recently started popping up again. I suspected my old enemy Constantine Drago was back. Every time I thought I had killed him, he would return with more hybrids. My family and his family have been at war for a century. "Did they say anything?" Jed shook his head. "Nothing, like usual." I rose to my feet, towering well above every other wolf in the realm at 6'9". I clapped my huge hands together. "Well, then sounds like we are going to have some fun with hybrids." I chuckled and started towards the door of my office. Jed stood up and followed me. He was about two inches shorter than me and only a little less muscular. I am built like a wrestler on steroids. However, I have never taken drugs besides a little weed in my life. As an alpha werewolf, I was larger than most men. But I stood out as I was the largest around, even larger than the king. Tattoos covered my bulky arms and chest. I also had a few on my massive neck too. I ran my hands through my long black beard, the only hair on my head. I kept the top of my head bald. Jed followed me down the stairs of my massive packhouse. It made the White House look like a shack and could easily fit most of my large pack. Titan Mountain Pack is one of the largest in the realm. It is also one of the strongest, and we are often the ones called to help smaller, less powerful packs fight rogues and hybrids. We were also one of the few packs blessed by one of the gods. While werewolves were the product of Selene, the Moon Goddess, the other gods sometimes chose to bless certain packs. My pack was blessed by Ares, the god of war which gave us significant advantages in battle. I ran my pack on strict discipline and obedience. We were also an old-fashioned pack where she-wolves were expected to stay home and raise pups. They were not allowed to train beyond learning self-defense. I did not believe that females possessed the needed strength to be proper warriors. When I finally found my Luna, she would have to fall into the role of mother and housewife. At 29 years old, I had long ago given up finding my fated mate. I tried picking a chosen mate, but my wolf Hyperion vetoed every choice. He vowed he would only accept his fated mate. I could not mark anyone that my wolf disapproved of. So, for now, I just f****d whoever I wanted. That angered Hyperion, but he just grumbled in the back of my mind while I did it. We got to the ground floor of the packhouse, where the game room and dining hall were located. There were also several other recreational-type rooms the pack members were allowed to use. Jed's eyes shot down the hall towards the dining hall. "Khione! What are you doing out of bed?" He walked over to his very pregnant mate. Khione smiled and walked over to us. I instantly wrapped my arms around her and pulled her small frame against me, causing Jed to growl. I growled back. I released her, and Jed pulled her into his arms. He glared at me. I rolled my eyes at him. "She is my sister, you idiot." "Well, she is my mate." He countered and then looked at my sister and ran his hand under her chin. "Khione, baby, the doctor said you need to stay in bed." He lightly kissed her lips, and I had to look away. My baby sister had turned eighteen last year and found out she and Jed were mates. I was happy for them. But it still bothered me to see him kissing her. "I'm tired of being in bed all of the time, Jeddy," Khione whined, and she looked at me. "Atty, tell Jeddy not to be so overprotective." I touched my sister's arm. "Khione, he is just looking out for you and my nephew." I have been caring for my baby sister ever since our parents were killed in a rogue attack. I was sixteen, and she was only six. All at once, I was thrust into being Alpha and the guardian of my younger brother and sister. At times I felt more like her father than her brother. "Now, go back upstairs before we have another incident. I'll have an omega bring up your favorite ice cream." She folded her arms and pouted. Her blue eyes, similar to mine, sparkled with tears. "But Atty-" Jed kissed her temple. "Baby, I will be home soon. Go on up and rest. It's only for another few weeks, alright?" He told her. "Atty and I have work to do." I glared at my beta. Only Khione was allowed to called me Atty. Jed smiled at me as he released my sister. He snapped his fingers at a pair of passing warriors. "Can you two see that my mate gets up to my suite safely," He said to them. "Yes, Beta." One of them acknowledged him with a slight bow. Khione sighed as Jed kissed her again and watched as the warriors escorted her away. "Come on, Atty, we have work to do," Jed said in a mocking tone. A low growl rumbled out of me. "You are a lucky man. If you were any other male, I would rip your head off for calling me Atty." He snorted. "What and rob my son of his very handsome father?" "His very handsome uncle would raise him instead," I replied and smacked his arm. We continued out of the packhouse. The slut that was sucking my c**k from earlier slithered up to me. She was entirely too thin to be a werewolf. Her long blonde hair was done up, and she was wearing a tight red dress. If only I remembered her name. I just remembered her because she had some of the largest t**s I had ever seen. "Atty," She purred as her perfume made Hyperion fake choke in my head. I pulled my arm away. "What did I say about calling me that?" "Khione calls you that," She protested. I stopped and glared down at her. I wrapped my hand lightly around her neck to assert my dominance. "Khione is the only one who can call me that. To you, I am Alpha Atlas Wylde, do you understand?" "But we have s*x-" The female whined. "Do you understand?" I squeezed her neck as I spoke in my tone. I released her neck as she angled it to show her submission. "Good, now be a good little female and run along, Tammy." She frowned at me. "My name is Tawny." "Whatever." I snarled and walked away from her. I heard Jed scoff beside me. "What?" "I don't miss our old days of man whoring." He stated. I rolled my eyes. "I don't need some ball and chain holding me back." "Are you seriously calling your sister a ball and chain?" Jed asked me with a low growl. "No, that's not what I meant. I mean, I am glad you don't cheat on my sister because I would kill you. But I don't think I could stand being stuck with one p***y for the rest of my life." I told him as we walked up the path towards the woods. The cells were located behind the packhouse. "I used to think that too, Atlas. But s*x with your mate is the best s*x. I mean, holy s**t, the way she rides my coc-" Jed choked out as I wrapped my hand around his neck. "I don't want to hear about my sister riding your cock." I released him, and he snorted while rubbing his red neck. He shrugged. "Anyways, as I was saying. Don't knock s*x with your mate. I'm surprised Khione, and I don't have three pups by now," He smirked, and I felt like choking him again. He brushed past me. "We better hurry up and go interrogate those assholes in the cells." I hated that he was right. I needed to focus on work. Taking a deep breath, I put on my tough alpha exterior. I would have those hybrid trembling and pissing themselves in no time. I was the scariest Alpha in existence. I smooth the blue button-up shirt I was wearing and glanced down at my pants, ensuring I had no semen on them. Tammy or Tina or whatever was not the only female that had serviced me today. Jed was well ahead of me up the path, and I hurried to follow him. The cells were located in a low-lying building covered in grass and dirt, blending into the landscape. It had been built into the mountain by my grandfather. It went down about two hundred feet and contained a dozen large cells. There were several interrogation rooms. We also had an electric chair for executions. We reached the cell building, and my Gamma, Dalton, was pacing outside, smoking a cigarette. "Did you two take the scenic route?" He snarled at me. Dalton is almost as huge as I am. He is about five inches shorter, but he is built like a barge. My Gamma is renowned throughout the packs for his torture techniques. He gets results like no other. He is also the best at training and keeps our warriors in top shape. "Shut up, Dal," Jed answered him. Dalton flicked his cigarette away and opened the large iron door that leads into cells. Two guards stood on either side of the door, and both bowed to me as we passed through the door. Inside was another guard sitting behind a desk with several computer monitors that had camera feeds on them. He stood up as attention. "Alpha Atlas, Beta Jed, Gamma Dalton." "Let us in, Bradley," I ordered the guard who pushed a button on the desk. "As you were," I smirked slightly to him. The guard sat back down as we walked through a large set of iron doors and down a short catwalk to an elevator. The three of us rode the elevator in silence. We reached the bottom floor, and I followed Dalton and Jed down the corridor. "They are already in the interrogation room for you," Dalton told me. "And my toys?" I grinned, and my Gamma nodded. I rubbed my hands together. "Excellent. I feel like filleting hybrids." We reached the interrogation room, and Dalton opened the door. Inside five dirty and smelly rogue hybrids sat on the floor handcuffed with silver. Three guards stood over them. One, a blonde male, looked up at me with a sneer. He made an oof sound when my guard kicked him. I pointed to the blonde. "I'll question that one first," I told the guards. The blonde was pulled roughly to his feet and dragged to the other side of the room, where a metal chair sat beside a metal table. My guards threw him into the chair and chained him. I stalked towards him and looked at the table where my implements of torture sat. The blonde hybrid just stared at me through red eyes. I paced back and forth in front of him. "So, care to tell me what you are doing trespassing onto my land?" He hissed but said nothing. "Cat got your tongue, eh?" I smirked at him and looked at my tools. I picked up a gleaming silver knife with an ivory handle. It had belonged to my father and was my favorite as it could be slid just under the skin and cause the most pain. I waved the knife in front of his face. He flinched as the scent of the silver reached his nostrils. "Ah, so tell me what I want to know. Why were you trespassing on my land?" I bent down to snarl in his face. "You don't scare me, Alpha Wylde." He tried to sound brave, but I heard the fear in his face. "So, you know who I am?" "You are hard to miss," The blonde snorted. I laughed with a mocking tone and then stabbed the silver knife into his shoulder. He screamed out in pain. "You aren't so funny now, are you?" "I won't say anything." The blonde struggled as blood flowed out of the wound. I pulled the knife out and stabbed it just below the other wound. He screamed out again. "Just tell me why you were on my land. That's all I want to know." I said, deathly calm. The blonde struggled as blood poured from his wounds. He bit his lip to stay silent, so I stabbed him again just below the other two injuries. I did the same thing repeatedly until he was pale from blood loss and pool soiled my shoes. His head lulled to the side. I glanced at the other rogues sitting on the floor. "Are the rest of you at tight-lipped as your friend?" They all trembled while they watched their blonde friend bleeding to death. I pointed to a young male with black hair. "He's next," I ordered. Dalton untied the blonde, who was barely alive. My Gamma dragged him to a corner of the room and dropped him in a heap. The guards dragged the young one to the bloody chair and tied him with the silver rope. He hissed and struggled. I set the bloody knife next to my other implements. I looked over my tools. I picked up another knife that was covered with barbs. I turned to the young one. "So," I stepped towards him and thrust the barbed knife into his face. "Now, will you be willing to tell me what I want to know?" The young rogue was struggling against his restraints. "W-what do you want to know?" He mumbled. Rolling my eyes, I stabbed him in the left shoulder, and he screamed as blood spurted out of the wound. I pulled the barbed knife out with chunks of muscle while the rogue screamed. "You scream like a b***h. Now, tell me why you were trespassing on my land." The rogue spat blood in my face. "I will never tell you anything." Sighing, I proceeded to stab him several times until he fell silent. Getting impatient, I had my guards and Gamma repeat the process. Dalton dropped the young rogue's body in the corner alongside the blonde's. Then had them tie up an older grey-haired rogue. The gray hair held up his hands as I picked up another one of my favorite tools. "Constantine sent us," He blurted out. "What the f**k Gary?" One of the remaining rogues shouted. "I'm sorry, Ivan. Lord Constantine paid us to just walk onto your land." The one called Gary told me. I bent down in front of his face and stuck my knife in his cheek. He whimpered as blood spilled from the wound. "Lord?" I laughed. "He is calling himself Lord Constantine now?" I sputtered and looked at Dalton and Jed. "Lord Constantine," I let out a raucous laugh. I turned back to the grey-haired rogue. "He just paid you to wander onto my land?" "Y-yes. That is it." He replied. "I don't believe you." I traced my knife down his cheek, and he screeched like a banshee. "I'M TELLING THE TRUTH!" "Gary is telling the truth, Alpha," Ivan shouted. "Please, we are just simple rogues." I turned my attention to Ivan. I snapped my finger to my guard, who picked up Ivan. I grabbed him by the throat and raised him to my eye level, which is nearly seven feet off the ground. I slammed him against the cold wall of the interrogation room. "You are telling me that Constantine only paid you all to wander onto my land?" Ivan nodded. "For what purpose?" "He didn't tell us," Ivan replied as urine trickled down his leg. "We were just camping in the forest, and he came up to us and told us to wander onto your land and then handed us a bunch of money." I snorted and dropped the useless sack at my feet. "Gamma, see what else you can get out of them and then write up a report for the King," I told my Gamma and looked down at the blood splattered on my clothes. "Yes, Atlas," My Gamma replied with a half-assed salute. Jed and I left the interrogation room and walked down the corridor. "We'll add today's report to the others," I said to my beta. "That way, we can report this problem to the king." We were supposed to travel to the royal palace for the yearly alpha meeting the day after tomorrow. I hated going to those things, but I needed to present my reports on the hybrid problem this year. King Rodney Lockhart was aware that my family had been at war with Constantine Drago for a century. My pack was not the only one that had problems with Constantine, a vampire/wolf hybrid. He had taken out a few smaller packs, but no one knew why. Entire packs would just disappear. Then attacks on human cities would increase, and the hunters would get involved. Constantine wanted to take over the world and enslave humans. That would only entice the hunters to take out all of us. We all wanted Constantine dead, but he is a slick bastard. "Hopefully, the king will have insight on how to put an end to Drago once and for all," Jed sighed. We reached the elevator and rode in silence back to the top. We walked out of the building and back towards the packhouse. On the way, we passed a large bronze statue of Ares. I stopped in front of it and bowed. I said a silent prayer asking for guidance on how to take care of the hybrid problem. I was afraid Constantine would step things up and start attacking my pack. We were strong and capable, but I still secretly feared a large-scale rogue attack. That was how I had lost my parents. I stood up and looked up at the statue before walking away from it. Jed and I walked back into the house. "Do you need me for anything else?" Jed asked. "No, bro. Tell Khione good night for me." I patted his back. "I have to go pack for the meeting. You should too." Jed sighed. "I hate leaving Khione when she is liable to pop any moment now." "She and the baby will be here when we get back. Your Mom will help her." I told him. "I want to be there to see my son's birth," Jed replied as I scoffed. "Why?" "That's what we are supposed to do," Jed argued. I shook my head. "You are whipped, bro. Whipped." I said before we parted ways. I went up to my lonely floor and looked around my palatial suite. Even though I had lots of lovers, I felt pangs of loneliness. Now that Khione was mated and Zephyr was away at college, I just hated how cavernous this suite felt. 'What the f**k, Hyperion? Quit making into a depressed sap.' 'I can't help it. I want my mate.' He whined. 'Whatever,' I grumbled as I flopped down onto the oversized leather couch in the living room. I turned on the TV and got lost in wrestling. 'You will meet her soon,' A strange voice said in my head. This voice projected an aura of power. 'Meet who?' I asked the strange voice. 'The one your prayed for.' The voice replied. 'Who are you?' I asked the sudden silence. 'Hyperion, who was that?' My wolf, too, was silent. Shaking my head, I returned my attention to the TV and soon fell asleep on the couch, wondering where the mysterious voice came from and what he meant.
