“I know, I know,” she said, not speaking to anyone in particular. “I’m late. Flight was delayed. Now let me tell you all the salacious details.”
Gil walked through the chaos of the back room, listing off a litany of fake facts about her trip. Tall leggy blonde. Beautiful smile. Nice rack. s*x on the mile high club. “Not to mention all those snakes on a plane. Yeah, you could say I’m a hero.”
